Help students build confidence and make progress at our Hollis and Jamaica centers in Queens. Tell us what you can teach, when you are available, and which center works for you.

In-person tutoring, two Queens centers

Our students seek help with elementary through introductory college coursework, including math, reading, writing, and science. We also support New York State Regents, SAT, and ACT preparation. Small groups are a core format, with individual sessions available.

How to apply

1. Complete the short tutor application with your subjects, grade levels, availability, and preferred center.

2. Email your resume to StarTutoringGroup@gmail.com with the subject “Tutor Application – Your Name.”

3. We’ll contact candidates when their experience matches current student needs.

Applications are for in-person work at our Hollis or Jamaica center. Please do not send Social Security numbers or identity documents with your initial application.
