High School Tutoring in Hollis and Jamaica, Queens

A difficult unit, a missed foundation, or a packed exam calendar can make high school feel overwhelming. Our in-person tutoring starts with the class or test the student is working on now. An advisor can help your family choose a focused small group or an individual session at our Hollis or Jamaica center.

Coursework support that starts with the actual class

We support high school math, reading, writing, and science. Bring a current assignment, recent quiz, class notes, or a teacher’s topic list. That gives the tutor a concrete starting point: identify what is unclear, practice the next step, and connect it to upcoming classwork. Students who are doing well can strengthen a topic before it becomes a problem.

Small groups and individual sessions

Small groups are our core format. They give students guided practice and a chance to ask questions alongside peers working at a similar level. Individual tutoring is also available when a student needs a different pace or a narrow focus. We will discuss the fit during the free consultation; you do not have to choose a format before contacting us.

Coursework, Regents, and college entrance exams

Daily coursework and exam preparation can overlap, but they have different deadlines. Tell us whether the immediate priority is a class, a New York State Regents exam, the SAT or ACT. We can recommend a starting focus and a schedule that makes sense for the student’s goals and test date.
